Any of this sounds familiar?

Anxiety is a treatable psychological condition that manifests in some common features that you may be experiencing.

Tightness in chest before a call you've had a hundred times.
You replay conversations and overthink at 2 a.m. looking for what you got wrong.
You keep over-explaining yourself to get reassurance and validation from others.
You keep worrying and anticipate the worse that can happen to you or your loved ones.
Your hands are sweaty, body shivers, heart beats fast and sleepless nights.
Your mind keeps worrying about multiple things and smallest inconvenience can trigger your irritable side.

Not sure who to pick?

  • Muskan — if the anxiety has been around a while, comes with low mood, panic, phobias or OCD, or feels like more than you can manage on your own. She's an RCI-licensed clinical psychologist.
  • Charul — if it's tied to studies, work, a decision or a relationship, and you want somewhere to think it through.

Either is a fine place to start, and you can switch after a session.

Questions people ask before booking

Sessions are ₹1,200 online and ₹1,500 at the clinic with Charul Rawat, and ₹1,400 online and ₹1,800 at the clinic with Muskan Bishnoi — 50 minutes either way. Counselling psychologists in Delhi generally charge ₹500–₹2,500 and RCI-licensed clinical psychologists ₹2,000–₹5,000, so both sit below the midpoint. There is no package and no minimum number of sessions.

For most anxiety, either works. A counselling psychologist is the right level of care when the anxiety is tied to a situation — studies, work, a decision, a relationship. A clinical psychologist is worth choosing when it has been going on a long time, comes with low mood, or feels beyond what you can manage day to day. If you pick one and the other turns out to be the better fit, we will say so.

Yes — CBT is the most evidence-backed approach for anxiety and it is the backbone of the work here. Muskan also draws on DBT and ACT skills for the moments when emotion outruns thinking, and Charul uses mindfulness-based techniques for the physical side. Sessions are structured, but they are not worksheets.

Nobody can tell you honestly before meeting you. Many people notice a difference within six to eight sessions for situation-linked anxiety; longer-standing patterns usually take more. You book one session at a time, so you are never committed further than the next one.

Yes. Panic responds well to therapy, and the work is fairly concrete — understanding what your body is doing and why it is not dangerous, reducing the avoidance that keeps it going, and building a plan for the moments it starts. If panic is frequent or severe, we may also suggest a psychiatric opinion alongside.

Often not. Psychologists do not prescribe — for anxiety that is severe, persistent, or not shifting with therapy alone, we can arrange a psychiatric consultation through our associated psychiatrists, and therapy continues alongside it. That is a conversation, not a condition of starting.

At AMHS, we focus on enhancing the quality of online sessions to provide clients with a therapy experience that feels as real as face-to-face therapy. Because the quality of online and offline sessions are same, you are free to opt for offline therapy if the location of our clinic in Green Park, South Delhi near AIIMS is accessible. If not, online therapy works just as well.

Yes. Nothing is shared with family, employers or anyone else without your consent, other than in the narrow situations where a clinician is legally or ethically required to act on a serious risk to life.

Anxiety responds to treatment.
Carrying it alone doesn't.
